Skiing & Snowboarding in the Ötztal

Austria's most modern lifts, the Gaislachkogelbahn mountain lifts, are located close to our accommodation Apartments Residence Sonnalp**** and the country cottages "Peater's Hoamat" and "Im Grüne" and allow all ski and snowboard enthusiasts access to 150 kilometres of perfectly maintained slopes in all degrees of difficulty.

The two connected glacier ski resorts at the Rettenbach- and Tiefenbach glaciers ensure absolute snow guarantee from October all the way until May. Enjoy a fantastic time on the slopes, as well as delicious meals and snacks and a good dose of fun in the 27 ski huts up the mountain. In addition, one of the largest snow-sports schools in Austria offers lessons for beginners as well as advanced snow sports enthusiasts here. 

For even more slopes to conquer, the ski resort Obergurgl and Hochgurgl is nearby and offers plenty of space for the perfect carve.
